John Foster

Shaping the Future of Tennis, One Ambidextrous Player at a Time.

John Foster is a USPTA Elite professional, USTA high-performance coach, and ambidextrous tennis pioneer. With 38 years in the sport, his experience includes WTA tour coaching, sports journalism, and motivational speaking. John believes in holistic player development and is changing the game of tennis with revolutionary ambidextrous coaching techniques.

Ambidextrous Training

Training the right and left hand to have the same strength and coordination for playing tennis. This is the future of training for kids 10 and under and is essential for developing the body physically even.

Tactics and Strategy

Foster’s strategy is playing your patterns and strengths and then finding weaknesses to use at crucial times in the match. Players learn to play offense and only defend, when necessary, always looking to get back to offense during the point.

Tennis Fundamentals

The commonalities of great tennis strokes. Most coaches wind up teaching styles instead of fundamentals, so knowing what is a fundamental and a style is essential in becoming a great striker of the tennis ball.
